A Wednesday at Piedmont Dog Park

This was my first random unscheduled visit to any dog park. It was an overcast day so I shot wide open on my Canon EF50mm f/1.8 again, 1/640, ISO 100 for all of these since I was going for that classic “portrait” look for these dogs with creamy that creamy bokeh.

While composing these, I made a conscious effort to avoid having any distractions in the background. The park was large enough to get both solo portrait shots and creamy bokeh, despite shooting handheld with no stabilization in my camera or lens.
